Privacy Policy

Who we are
HLG LLC operates RelaySync. This policy explains information handling for our website, customer accounts, billing, and forwarding service. Use our contact form with privacy questions or requests.
Information we process
- Account and support information: name, email address, account credentials, messages, and attachments you provide.
- Billing records: orders, invoices, subscription status, payment references, and billing details supplied during purchase. PayPal handles payment authorization and payment credentials through its own systems.
- Connection settings: your domain, dashboard destination, verification token, DNS results, and connection status.
- Technical information: IP addresses, request details, browser information, errors, and security or operational records processed by our infrastructure.
Traffic through your custom domain
RelaySync receives and forwards requests and responses between visitors and the dashboard configured by our customer. This can include IP addresses, URLs, headers, cookies, login tokens, submitted forms, and response content. HTTPS terminates at the relay, so encryption does not prevent RelaySync from processing this traffic. An HTTP destination leaves the onward connection unencrypted.
The dashboard operator determines what its dashboard collects and how it uses that information. Visitors should also consult that operator’s privacy notice. Customers must have authority to route and process visitor data through RelaySync.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, process orders and renewals, verify domain control, configure and monitor forwarding, send service emails, answer support requests, investigate abuse, and meet legal obligations. We use website performance measurements to understand and improve the site.
Providers and disclosures
We use OVHcloud for hosting, Cloudflare for website delivery, security, DNS lookups, and Web Analytics, Resend for service email, PayPal for payments, and certificate authorities such as Let’s Encrypt for HTTPS certificates. These providers receive information needed for their roles. DNS queries disclose the queried hostname, and publicly trusted certificates can publish domain names in public certificate-transparency logs.
Your configured dashboard host receives forwarded requests. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people and the service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and website analytics
The client area uses cookies and similar browser storage for sessions, sign-in, security, and interface operation. Blocking these can prevent account features from working.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits and performance. Cloudflare describes this analytics product as not using cookies or local storage to track visitors. This is separate from cookies used for sign-in and security. See Cloudflare’s Web Analytics documentation for details.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to operate your account and service, handle disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy accounting or other legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and purpose. Closing an account does not necessarily delete invoices, required legal records, or backup copies immediately.
We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online system is completely secure. Keep your login secure and use HTTPS for your dashboard destination where available.
Your choices and requests
You can update account information in the client area. Use our contact form to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how your data is handled. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights, including portability, restriction, objection, or a complaint to a privacy regulator. We may verify your identity and retain information we are legally required or otherwise entitled to keep.
For data collected within a customer’s dashboard, contact that dashboard operator first. We can assist with requests relating to our handling of relay traffic.
Location, children, and updates
RelaySync operates from the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, whose privacy laws may differ from yours. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, those requirements still apply.
RelaySync accounts are intended for adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact support. We will update this policy as our practices change and provide notice of material changes where required.
